Meaning of metamorphosis: ???
?drastic change.
In the life of a young Christian we need to face metamorphosis. Not physically as in nature with caterpillars and other insects but your soul.
My thinking comes from observation of everyday life especially my own. My referral to Christianity as part of our metamorphosis is that firstly effects the soul. And in my soul is where my Christianity lays.
Turning from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly is a natural process. It takes time but nature takes its course. Out comes the colourful wings and the world gets blessed with its beauty and grace. Joyful is the world to the new found beauty of being a butterfly. In contrast to the once one directional plump caterpillar oblivious to its surroundings.
This brings us to the human process of metamorphosis or at least how I see it. Once our soul reaches a point where it wants, needs to evolve to become a beautiful butterfly there is no natural order of things. No spinning of a cocoon or any isolation and protection.
Once again as a Christian you get to the point where you are ready your soul is ready but how do we evolve? How do I isolate and protect my soul from the tempests brewing,temptation lingering, failure seem eminent...
How do I young Christian become that butterfly. How do I spin my cocoon and protect my precious soul from the unwanted until I can swerve high above the unrest that I see. How do I become the graceful person that I am. How do I become like Moses,the disciples and Jesus who's souls took to the sky and blessed humanity till today.
This young Christian says I'm ready tell me how.
