Mobile travel portals, city.mobi, has launched a number of new mobile city guides for the Middle East during the World Travel Awards Middle East Ceremony on May 5th, 2009. The city guides include major Middle East cities, Dubai.mobi, AbuDhabi.mobi, Beirut.mobi, Damascus.mobi, Amman.mobi, KuwaitCity.mobi, Riyadh.mobi, Sanaa.mobi, Tehran.mobi, Doha.mobi and Muscat.mobi.
The mobile city guides include visitor information on hotels, events, attractions, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and itinerary ideas and more.
According to Kelly Footit, Head of Development for city.mobi said, "The Middle East represents a major growth market for city.mobi. With international tourism destinations such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as thriving cosmopolitan cities with the likes of Tehran and Riyadh, there is increasing demand for mobile city information."
