Vedic Astrology is a science which studies the effects of planets of human live and behaviour. It is based on astronomy which is the correct position of the planets at a given time. Once the correct positions of planets and zodiac signs are known an astrologer can construct various charts which representing these positions in different stance of life. On these charts astrology science is applied and studied to draw conclusions on possibly every single factor of the person's life.
The most striking thing about Vedic astrology is that it gives out very accurate answers of a person's life quest. Vedic astrology is different from the western astrology mainly because it uses the fixed zodiac as opposed to the moving zodiac. It gives more importance to the planets moon which represents mind. Most of the Vedic astrology analysis is based on moon as the most important factor.
The most basic things required to cast a birth chart under Vedic astrology is date of birth, place of birth and time of birth. With these details a unique birth chart is drawn as every person is unique and deals with quite exclusive circumstances. In a birth chart and other divisional charts there are mainly 12 parts called houses which represent different aspects of life and literally cover every single aspect of life. Also there are 12 zodiac signs and 9 planets which all make up a unique set of combination together.
Vedic astrology is not just a science that analysis and predicts but it also gives remedies to prevent or reduce the effects of certain undesirable forecasts. It gives a much needed direction to one's life. e.g. If a person is confused about the career he/she should go for, the birth chart will very well suggest ideal field of professions.
